I've seen this a year (I think) ago. Been watching Atobe kara no Okurimono - Prince of tennis OVA. Of course since there's the word "ATOBE" in the title that caused me to watch the OVA itself.

Feature Anime: Amatsuki

Actually, after watching Lovely Complex I tried Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei but I completely turned it down since there are some unnecessary scenes for me. [What do you think, a baldy guy made it.] Though the story is interesting, It's just I can't continue watching an anime with those kind of scenes. (eg. Chobits, Neon Genesis Evangelion) FOR THE FANS OF THE SAID ANIME HONTOU NI GOMEN NASAI...

Now, since I'm a summary-copier-maniac, I'll get again what's in ANN:

"Ordinary high school student, Tokidoki Rikugō, has to take supplementary History classes, to boost his failing grade, at a state-of-the-art museum. This museum allows the visitor to use high-tech virtual reality to reconstruct a realistic Edo of the Bakumatsu period. However, once the simulation begins, Tokidoki is attacked by a strange creature. After something happens to his left eye, he realizes that he is not wearing the VR goggles - it is no longer a simulation; he's trapped in the virtual world and has no way of getting back."

The anime only has 13 episodes and was continued in manga. It's just disappointing since when the fight's going to start they ended the anime.

Feature Anime: LOVELY COMPLEX

I've watched this series last week and I fell totally for it.

This series is about Kozumi Risa and Otani Atsushi. Kozumi's too tall and Otani's too short. Kozumi fall for Otani and lots of circumstances happens until Otani realizes that he also has feelings for Kozumi.

Here's the story summary (from ANN)

"Risa Koizumi, taller than the average girl, and Atsushi Ootani, shorter than the average guy - their constant bickering and comical love-hate relationship is well-known throughout the school. They act similarly and love the same music, and their friendship is full of laughing, shouting at each other, and of course, lots of jokes about one another's height. But when Risa notices her feelings for Ootani growing, she's worried. She doesn't know if he can ever see her as more than a friend. With her friends rooting for her, she struggles to make him see how she feels about him, and that a romantic relationship between a tall girl and a short guy can work. Oblivious Ootani doesn't make things easy for her, but she stubbornly perseveres in her own unconventional way, determined for her feelings to get through to him, and finally be returned. If only she could do it without driving herself and everyone else crazy in the process..."

[I really liked Otani-kun after watching this series. He's too perfect, well maybe to balance the anime (^w^)]

I've also heard that there's a live-action adaptation of this. Tamaki Nami's in there that's why I think it's a MUST-WATCH!!

I've read this before. THERE'S NO HYOUTEI!!! SHITENHOUJI!! Where's Atobe? Where's Shiraishi?!!

If I am going to answer the first two questions, maybe these'll be my answers:

1. For me it's Ichigan too. Though I love all the songs, Ichigan made the biggest impact to me.

2. I want them to have a unit where Atobe-sama, Tezuka-kun, and Sanada-san's there. Maybe they can even sing Valentine Kiss. :-D

Minagawa Junko as Echizen Ryoma

1: Future. Just listening to that intro makes me remember how excited and nervous I was back on October 10, 2001, when the anime first aired. It makes me feel THIS is tenipuri!
2: Id like to do a duet with every one of the cast members, one by one. I really love every single Prince of Tennis character.
3: Our dreams of having a tenipuri concert have finally been realized! Its only for one day, but because its only one day, I want to make it the most fun concert! So I will. Its gotta be fun! Lets get rowdy, everyone!

Okiayu Ryotaro as Tezuka Kunimitsu

1: Ryomas Ichigan. I listened to it for the first time in a long time and cried (I didnt mean to!). And We Love SEIGAKU. Its fun. ♪
2: We already have units everyone loves like aozu and meganes, so I think thats good enough!
3: I dont really know how this came about, but lets all have fun! Since even we performers have no idea whats going to happen (laugh).

[Kaede: Cheers! Okiayu-san I can relate to you. When I first listened to Ichigan, even though I can't understand all the parts of the song it made me cry.]

Kondou Takayuki as Oishi Shuichirou

1. Kakaeta Kiseki. Its really easy to sing. I like the lyrics and melody of the furi dashita~ part.
2. Sanada-kun. Because we have yet to do anything with the relationship between the two -ichirous. (laugh)
3. Because they call it a marathon, I wonder if it will be a hard event for both the cast and the fans (laugh). Nah, its a festival! Lets all enjoy this one-time-only festival!

[Kaede: Kondou-san, you should love your own song "Koikaze". Though Kakaeta Kiseki is also wonderful.]

Kaida Yuki as Fuji Shuusuke

1. We Love SEIGAKU. Even though its a happy song, I cried the first time I heard it. I like Kakaeta Kiseki, DEPARTURES, and Shutter chance wa ichido dake! too. I have too many favorites!
2. My love for my school grows every day, so we should do Aozu + cap to bin songs forever.
3. Every single tenipuri song is full of the love, talent, and sweat of the people who made it. Keeping that love as a crystal, Im so happy I could do this event with everyone today. Thank you so much!

Tsuda Kenjiro as Inui Sadaharu

1. Though there are a lot of Inui songs and units and other things I like, my favorite is WHITE LINE. I wonder why but I really like it. I wonder if its because it has that ah, this is youth feeling to it.
2. There are a lot of groups Id like to make because it looks like it would be fun, but I dunno I guess the units right now are the best after all!
3. Its been awhile since weve done a tenipuri event this big, so Im really excited. Lets all have a good time.

[Kaede: Coz' Inui's chara songs has lots of words before singing that's why you ended up liking the other chara songs.]

Takahashi Hiroki as Kikumaru Eiji

1. If I had to pick one it would be tsubasa ni nate. It was my fist single as Kikumaru Eiji! I also love DEPARTURES and the Golden Pairs Type wa D! Ahh, I have so many favorites!
2. I want to get everyone on Seigaku, including the first and second years (and Yamato-senpai?), together and do a Seigaku Song! Or the 3nen 6gumies (Grade 3 Class 6ers) or the Ai, Soto haneezu (no idea what kind of pun hes trying to make here). I wanna do everything that comes to my mind.
3. Youre all attending even though youre busy with end-of-term things, so thank you nya~! So it wont become a zannen munen mata raishuu, Im juuden kanryou! (two popular Eiji phrases in one sentence too bad, try next week and batterys recharged, respectively). Lets run at it!

Kawamoto Naru as Kawamura Takashi

1. I cant pick one, there are too many..! Even though there are a lot, when I remember the many events weve held WHITE LINE, Rock 54!?~Rock na hito wo sagashitemiyou~, and DEPARTURES.
2. I want a manzai comedy unit with Onosaka Masaya-san and Moriyama Eiji-san called Tenipuri Wars episode 2.
3. This is special. This is a festival! Im so, so happy I could meet everyone through tenipuri. Lets gather up our love for tenipuri and fire up our power together!

Onosaka Masaya as Momoshiro Takeshi

1. Lets see they all mean a lot to me, but the first opening, future, still leaves an impression on me.
2. How about getting together with Kikumaru and making the Food Fighters?

Nagai Sachiko as Yukimura Seiichi

1. Shinjitsu. I love both the lyrics and melody. It was Yukimuras first single, so it had a big impact on me.
2. Lets see How about a unit where all of the Rikkai members get together and wear Japanese-style clothes?
3. Though Yukimura is a child of the gods, I, as a human, can only say Ill sing with all of my might. Ill try hard to become a child of the gods (if I can). Since tenipuri has a lot of great songs, Ill enjoy all 100 of them along with everyone else. See ya.

Kusunoki Taiten as Sanada Genichirou

1. Wonderful Days. Though there are a lot of good songs, Sanada sang such a refreshing song. It was nice.
2. One where everyone in Rikkai would sing something like soiya, soiya. Or one where it would be something like a sailor uniform~.
3. What a long-awaited big event. Ill use all of my strength to face the day of the event, polish myself, get the stage ready, and make something really wonderful with everyone else.

[Kaede: I though Kusunoki-san really loves "Valentine Kiss" because of his "KIIIIIIIISSSSSSUUUU!!" part at the end. Love wonderful days too!]

Takemoto Eiji as Yanagi Renji / Kuki Kiichi

1. I wonder if its that guys (Kuki Kiichi) Kiichi no Hayakuchi Kotoba. Though I kind of feel like its not really a song
2. Is there anyone out there who would be so kind as to make a Hayakuchi Kotoba 2 with me?
3. Its been 10 years since I last sang in front of people! But it feel good so please have fun.

New Tenipuri CDs to be released!!

I know I've posted a while ago about the "LAST POST FOR JANUARY 2010" but I am again traversed to my other world and it made such ruckus to my mind telling me to post again!!

Here, I've known all along that Yukimura Seiichi will release a mini-birthday album on March 5, 2010. 1,800 yen (cheap, but I still can't buy since I am not allowed to. ZANNEN MUNEN!!)

AND A BIG HURRAY FOR SHIRAISHI KURANOSUKE!! He'll be releasing A FULL-ALBUM!! I didn't post it since it's been a rumor for awhile but now that I've seen it in interchannel (prince of tennis media distributors -was my term correct?) I'm now confident to tell everyone bout it. It'll be released on April 14, 2010!! [Marked already]

Lucky~ after Kite Eishirou's FAITH album are they planning to have all the buchous to have solo albums?

Lastly, another Shishido Ryou single to be released on March 10, 2010, 777 yen.

I'll post the pictures once the covers are announced.

Last Blog for January 2010

Mattaku~! I was so pretty disturb for the past two days and I haven't got the chance to post at least a thing here.

*Shoujiki, I watched and finished Trinity Blood. Fighting the Rosen Kreuz is so long but finishing up their leader just took an episode. What the heck? Did they plan to let Abel die first so that they can use that liquid thing that G

unslinger pour unto him? And Esther, becoming the queen so easily, is there such way that it can happen in real life?

[Too much for the Trinity Blood Mania. By the way, I really enjoyed the story well, I wish there'll be a second season though but I heard that the original story writer (since it's a novel) died. Just don't make any revisions and it'll be another thumbs up.]

Speaking of revisions, I remember the original Fullmetal Alchemist and the FMA Brotherhood. For the people who've watched the original FMA before th

e brotherhood, I know there are still lots protesting why is brotherhood allowed to air with lots of scenes destroyed. For example, the time when Nina's father turned him into a chimera, when I watched it in brotherhood, I didn't feel any emotion at all. No tears, no agony, nothing!! I stopped watching it. Maybe I'll give it a second shot once the anime airing is over.

I've started watching Chobits last week. Yeah~ this is not my norm way of watching an anime

since I usually take a day

for watching a whole 26-episode anime. Because I am not a fan of harem anime and a mild-ecchi anime I don't think I can finish it next week. Maybe watch it if I am in the mood to watch such anime. Maybe wait for a month or two. Saa~ Ganbare yo!!

Kajiura Yuki Live

Well, I kind of watched few unplugged parts of the Live DVDs from Youtube. Since I can't find a picture of the cover itself, I'll still continue on writing here.

I'm a fan of the FictionJunction that's why when I saw that there's an encore of them, I clicked it.

The first one that I've watched was the more upbeat version of Yume no Tsubasa [Tsubasa Chronicles]. The drums and the piano at that version are superb. I like it more than the original one. My sister and I just laughed a little since during the time we're listening to it, she thought it's Aya Hirano singing. Next? If I am not mistaken I chose Aikoi [Tsubasa Chronicles]. Then, Everlasting song [Erementar Gerad]. It's my favorite among all there songs. Imagine me listening to it the whole day non-stop. (Well, except when I am sleeping, I'm not aware if my mp's still on) Honoo no Tobira [Gundam Seed].

I remember, when I also listened to Dreamscape, the tone upped one level.

It's fun to watch it especially when you're a 'whole-anime-soundtrack listener' - just a term I created.

SEIYUU TRIVIA - Mizutani Yuko

Mizutani Yuko, born 1964, November 4. Hometown: Aichi, Japan. Here are some of her notable voiced characters:

Dan~ dadadan~ She voiced Black Jack's Pinoko. Her cute voice made her believe us that Pinoko really is only an innocent child. I remember her saying that she's already 18 years old. Is it true? I haven't been watching Black Jack this past months~

Biyomon's owner, the tomboyish gal of the Digimon series was also voiced by Mizutani Yuko-san.

Shuichi's sister Maiko Shindo's voice is also hers. The hit anime/manga gravitation really has lots of great seiyuus.

From Sorcerer Hunters' Misu sisters, she also voiced Chocolate Misu, the sister of Tira Misu.

Tenchi Muyo's series' Mihoshi's also her voice.

All in all, the characters are from old animes. [Old-generation seiyuu in short] I'm not a big fan of hers though. Just wanted to add old stuffs in my blog. I'LL DEFINITELY MAKE SUWABE-SAN'S NEXT TIME!
